not a support questionOnly registered members of the Omnium Open site can report bugs, if you are not registered then register now.
If you are certain that you have a bug to report, then you will need to go to the Omnium Open Trac site to do so.
You will need to login to Trac separately (using the same username and password that you use for these forums).
Once you are logged in, click on "New Ticket" in the main menu.
Here you should provide the following:
- Short summary: A brief and clear title for the bug
- Type: Generally this will be "defect" if it's a bug, "enhancement" if it's a suggestion
- Full description: Include steps to reproduce the problem if possible, take screenshots if need be, attach them and refer to them. Go nuts, the more information the better.
- Priority: Choose an honest value, please don't be offended if it is lowered later on
- Component: This helps us narrow down where the problem is occurring, if you aren't sure then make your best guess
- Keywords: Add some keywords for the bug, like "FireFox", "CSS", "login", etc.
- Cc: Add your email address to this field if you wish to receive emails when this ticket is updated. Multiple emails should be separated with commas or spaces
- Milestone: The upcoming version the ticket should be closed by
- Version: The existing version that the ticket refers to
If you have files to attach (patches are very welcome) then check the "I have files to attach to this ticket" checkbox. You can add most document types, including images (like screenshots).
Preview your ticket first, then if everything is OK submit it.
You can subscribe to your ticket as an RSS feed via the link at the bottom of the ticket page.
