Ok, That worked fine .. so far. The suggest Button works now and is sending me to the form page but users can not decide whether their suggestion is a link or a downloadable file. Only the fields for uploading a file are accessable .. whereas for admins still everything works perfect.

Basically the function can be pasted anywhere within the class. Just put the new function below one of the other functions and everything should be sweet.

Thanks for your help. I looked into the module file and where able to locate the specified function. Now I wonder where to copy-past your code since my file seems to have different line numbers.
Is it necessary to past the code somewhere specific or can I just put it on the end of the file?

I'm just running the system with around 40 users and try to keep the code-jockey part as low as possible ;)

This was a big bug which we somehow missed in the release of 4.0.1 and also made it into the 4.0.2. We fixed it about a week ago, to get it working you can paste this function into the MODULE_Resources file. This will definitely be fixed in the upcoming 4.0.5 release of the software.

I'm running version 4.0.1 (installer 1.0.2)

I noticed the problem while I was trying to grant users the right to suggest resources for the resources module. The 'Suggest new resource' button correctly appears but it only brings up a blank page (no warnings, nothing).
With higher rights (i.e. as Moderator or Admin) the button works just fine as well as the similar one 'Create new resource'. Within the admin-panel all rights seem to be set correctly (User can suggest; Admins can create) but again .. I can't even enable a specific user for the suggest-feature in the panel. Every attempt is prompted with "That user does not exist".
So far the only workaround would be to enable users to 'manage items' within resources - which is the same setting as for Admins.
