There is no upgrade script to move from beta 1.1 to beta 1.2.</p> <p>Most installations will have to make some changes to their my.cnf file (for MySQL) to get this and subsequent versions to work. The max_allowed_packet value must be large enough to accommodate the settings in omnium.ini. It's sort of a "baby" Omnium.<br /> Omnium Software 4 is a major overhaul of the previous version 3 codebase, and thus a lot of the intended functionality is still unbuilt or in it's infancy, however we thought it best to get the software out the door at beta level sooner rather than later. As we extend the functionality we can now release it directly to subversion until we mark new versions.
